This book has several problems. First and foremost it's very slow-moving . Second is that the entire premise is false because at one point they say they can't do DNA testing because both parents are dead and if the author had done literally any research she would know that they could've done DNA testing in 1993 on a sibling. so you have to watch this character trying to prove who she is when DNA testing would have done it in like two weeks . Overall it's just really not a good read ; I normally really like Lisa Jackson but this one feels like she wrote it overnight just for the money and shoved it out the door to publication.

I really loved this novel, more enjoyable because I really got into the characters, London and Zachary, they were forbidden lovers who you really want them to connect no matter what the outcome.....surprise ending I won't spoil it for you. One of Lisa Jackson's best!
Yet again Lisa has written a compelling mystery, thriller. She keeps you involved with her story characters. You are taken on a journey that places you with her main character and she keeps you there by you needing to finish the book to see what happens to her, and there is always a character that turns out to be a total surprise who doesn't have a full disclosure/name until the end.
I usually enjoy books by LJ, but this one missed on all the marks. Sibling DNA testing would have been available. Even without that, the intensity of lust between the two characters made it a given they wouldn't be related. However, they believed they were half-siblings and that was totally wrong. Overall the entire cast of characters was made up of unlikable individuals.
this is one of the dumbest books ever written. shame on ms. jackson. really? in what warped reality would a woman want to have sex with a man she believes is her brother? a woman supposedly wrote this? maybe your not well my dear.
I have read many other Lisa Jackson books and have always enjoyed her writing. This story, however, missed the mark. She could have written this story in about 10 chapters. But she dragged out the relationship with Zach and Adria waaaaayyy too long. Chapter after chapter is the two of them agonizing over their attraction to each other. Meanwhile I'm asking myself, why don't they just do a DNA test and be done with it?? Glad l only paid $1.99 for this
Interesting premise, but not handled well. Page after page after page of characters drooling over each other caused any suspense to be buried in tedium. A little would have been romantic. This much was simply exhausting.
I have always been a fan of Lisa Jackson, but this book is a very difficult read. I is way to easy to put down, which is unlike me. I find the plot hard to believe....why didn't she just go to an attorney and get a DNA test done??? The plot is to repetitive and predictable.
