When reading the first two books you never see this coming. Sometimes you need a strong woman to become a stronger man
Loved Donnie and Nora's story ! K.Webster sucks me in yet again !I'm anxiously awaiting the next Vegas Aces book about Daphne and Kenny . I highly recommend this series , if your interested in great sex scenes , dirty talk , overall good read , K.Webster is your girl !!
How can you not love a sexy drummer and a strong sexy female love interest. Even more, a story where the lady saves the day! Love this series, it's funny, sexy, and romantic, with a side of badass thrown in for good measure.
The first two books in this series were pretty typical rock star stories. This book had a different twist in the story line. It was a good story and easy, enjoyable reading material. I wasn't sure how this one would end but it was good. I hope to read about new characters from this series in the future.
Donnie has been my absolute favorite character throughout this series of books. I love that he got his happy ending. He deserves it more than the others. sorry.....just sayin. I liked Nora at first when she kept trying to save ppl. But I loved her when she let her mama bear claws come out to protect Donnie from anyone who meant him harm. Even his own family. perfect couple.....
GREAT READ. What else can one say? If you like the whole bad boy rock star vibe with some steamy lovin' thrown in, this one will make your week. It's a keeper, but be ready to drop everything to read it. Good story line, relate-able characters and it deals with the dark subject of addiction without being preachy or scary. It has plenty of funny moments as well as believable story. If you like Olivia Cunning's stuff, this one can compete.
The whole idea that someone could be hurting right in front of our faces and that no one notices it is a sad fact. In this story Donnie is hurting with drugs and alcohol. He has people all around him most of the time and no one notices that the happy he shows is to cover the sad he feels.

The Vegas Aces are busy with their lives and families and Donnie's family is the other band members. His real family is messed up. So no one really sees him on a path of self destruction. And in comes Nora, the
911 operator that helped Donnie deliver June's baby.

Nora sees the sad in Donnie and she is willing to fight him. The love between them is strong and I like that. I like how we still see bits and pieces of the other band members in this story.

I can't wait for the next book. But I loved this one
